The survey yielded some valuable insights into attitudes and perceptions related to OT security, including the following highlights:
- Global Perspective: 51% of respondents in the U.S. do not believe industrial networks are properly safeguarded, compared to just 4% of respondents in Germany.
- Threats and Potential Targets: 43% of respondents believed hacking/unauthorized network access will be the most prevalent type of cyber attack in 2020.
- OT Education and Awareness: 93% of respondents said OT security should be incorporated into the education and training of IT security professionals.
